How to find a job in Canada as a new immigrant
Moving to a new country and starting life afresh is a pretty daunting task even when you are moving to an immigrant-friendly country like Canada. It’s a huge cultural change, and everything you did back home is not the same here. But, a little bit of help and advice from friends makes the transition easy.
When I landed, my husband took us out for breakfast and ordered a double-double at Tim Hortons. He had been here long enough to know what kind of coffee I would like here.
I have had a lot of people connecting with me on Linkedin and asking for ways to find jobs in Canada. Interestingly most people had similar questions, so I created this “How to find a job in Canada” guide to help you fast track your job search in Canada. You can download it on your computer for future reference.
Whether you have only a few years of experience or have been a veteran in your field, you have lots of questions. Most of you who have already moved to Canada have been told you need to have a Candian format resume. But what’s the Canadian format? How do I write one? Some of you have been told that you do not have Candian experience, and you’re thinking, yes but, I just moved here! How do I get one if you no one gives me a job?
You wish there was someone who could answer all of these lingering questions for you.
Here’s a simple downloadable guide that tells you:
